Technical Agricultural Engineer.

He works in the Terres de l'Ebre Unit of the Plant Health Service at the Catalan Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and the Natural Environment. His role is to monitor pests and diseases, primarily those in crops such as citrus fruits and olives, where he has coordinated various trials in conjunction with the Plant Protection Groups.

He has also carried out the technical coordination of collective action campaigns, such as those against the olive fruit fly and the common fruit fly on citrus plants.

Between 2005 and 2008 he performed tasks for the Agricultural Production Service of the Government of Catalonia, conducting and managing controls on certified citrus plants in nurseries.

He has been a member of the National Groups for phytosanitary problems in citrus fruits, sub-tropical fruits and olive trees, set up by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.

He is technical director of citrus fruits at Fruit.net, and a member of various Technical Committees for Integrated Production, such as the one for citrus fruits.

He has co-authored different articles in both scientific and technical journals and in general interest publications.

He has made various presentations on pests in citrus fruits, olive trees and phytosanitary products.
