Jordi Cambray Sala has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Lleida and a Master's Degree in Biological Agriculture from the University of Barcelona. He has worked at the IRTA (Institute for Food and Agricultural Research) in the Post-harvest Technical Service since 2005, advising companies in the sector, particularly stone and pome fruit companies, on all aspects of post-harvest, integrated production and private quality standards (GLOBAL G.A.P., BRC, IFS, Tesco Nurture, Leaf Marque, etc.). 

Since 2011 he has been technical coordinator of the stone fruit and pear committees of the Fruit.Net Programme, working on optimising plant protection product use and reducing residue in fruit.
He has written and co-written articles in Spanish science magazines and international scientific journals. He also co-authored the book Poscosecha de pera, manzana y melocotón (‘Pear, apple and peach post-harvest’) (Mundi-Prensa, 2013). He frequently participates in transfer conferences and informative courses within the sector, both in Spain and abroad.
